The Craft
Our craftsman-quality raised-bed gardens are constructed from a variety of woods (you can upgrade from our high-quality pine to cedar), and are fitted with an attractive trellis. Our frames are artisan-quality and locally handcrafted by Class A carpenters. Like our plants, your garden's frame is made of the finest ingredients, and it's constructed with the greatest standard of carpentry care. All gardens include a weed barrier for a bottom and can be finished with a natural, FDA-approved oil as preservative if you wish.
Your Options
Naked Gardens: We can deliver your garden "naked" (without any soil and plants — you provide your own), or you can pick up a naked garden at one of our pickup points. We have shippable products for real foodies throughout the country, including some naked gardens and some fountains.
Gardens Ready to Grow:* An alternative to the naked version. We will deliver or you can pick up your garden, and we will provide our special soil recipe and your starter plants, which depend on your preferences and the time of year you order. Our seeds are open-pollinated, primarily heirloom, and locally grown, which means that they are suited for our climate, and our perfect soil recipe is custom grown with super redworms, the best organic materials, and other natural ingredients — ensuring optimal nutrition for your plants from their birth to your plate.
Gardens Installed:* For orders over $900, or for custom orders, we can install your garden and provide individualized gardening services for an additional cost. We can continue to supply your garden with plants season after season, or you can take the reins and start planting yourself.

*Nota Bene: "Gardens Ready to Grow" or "Gardens Installed" are available to all customers in Williamsburg and Richmond, Virginia. Call or email if you are outside that area; we can likely accommodate you. We install a number of gardens throughout Virginia, especially Charlottesville and Northern Virginia, and we've traveled as far as New York. We'll even come to California if you really want us to. We love the food there, too.
