The United States of Food will be partnering with leading nutritional organizations to join the crusade against childhood obesity. Like our plants, children need the best ingredients to properly sprout and lead healthy, productive lives. Today, two thirds of children are overweight or obese and diet related diseases are the number one killer of Americans.

We are committed to helping make the American people fighting fit — this process is best started by feeding America's kids a healthy diet and teaching them the nutritional skills for a lifetime of healthy eating.

In the video below, Jamie Oliver discusses the increasing problem of childhood obesity.
